Need for Speed Heat throws players into Palm City, a vibrant open world inspired by Miami. During the day, participate in sanctioned races known as the Speedhunter Showdown, earning Bank (in-game currency) to buy and upgrade your cars. By night, risk your Bank and freedom in illegal street races to build your reputation (Rep). The stakes are raised by Lt. Mercer and his specialized task force, who are actively hunting street racers.
