After centuries of war, the three kingdoms of Valandis have entered a fragile ceasefire, only for a weapon of mass destruction to throw the continent back into chaos. Players engage in fast-paced turn-based combat, utilizing a unique Overdrive system that rewards strategic skill usage. The game boasts no random encounters—enemies are visible and engaging them leads directly into the battle screen, promoting exploration. Later in the game, players acquire highly customizable Sky Armors, which transition seamlessly between ground exploration and airborne combat, fundamentally changing traversal and battle strategies.
