To save Monoth, the heroes must find the three magical Tomes of Knowledge. This Metroidvania-style adventure encourages deep exploration, allowing characters to unlock new, unique abilities—like wall-jumping and gliding—which allow access to new areas of the island. The game heavily emphasizes cooperative play, supporting 1-4 player local co-op where players can utilize special 'buddy skills' such as Rope Drop, Leap Frog, and even a helpful Hug mechanic to revive teammates, making teamwork essential for success. The game features a fully original story and orchestral score, bringing a fresh, cinematic feel to the beloved Disney characters.
